Haunted House 2009 Nears
Lincoln Community Club (LCC) members are preparing to open the doors to their annual Haunted House on Friday, Oct. 23.
The Haunted House, now in its ninth year, will be open Oct. 23, 24, 30, and 31 from 7-11:30 p.m. Admission to the house is $5, and all profits are used to support the local Fayetteville Public Utilities Harvest of Hope Food Drive.
"Last year, we were able to donate more than a thousand cans of food to the FPU Food Drive, which in return, donates the food to the Good Samaritans who get it to the folks who need it most," said Chris Rudd, LCC president. "We started the haunted house to give the community something fun and safe to do during the Halloween season. It also feels great to be able to give back to the community through the FPU food drive."
The Haunted House will keep some of its more popular "scares" and will feature new scenes as well. Concessions will be available on site.

LCC Sponsors School Supply Drive
The Lincoln Community Club is sponsoring a school supply drive from now until August 7th. You can drop off school supplies at Dollar General Market in Fayetteville, BlueRays Tanning Salon, or to any LCC Member.
The school supplies will be distributed to local area schools after August 7th. For more information, or if you are an official from a school that could benefit from the supplies, email Chris@lincolncommunityclub.com.
